iTunes Extras, the additional content you receive when you buy a movie on iTunes*, have been largely underwhelming. A few cast videos here. A few set photos there. Movie studios simply haven’t invested the time to do anything more compelling.
The new Avatar release hopefully marks the start of something new from content creators. Apple just needs to ensure that these things work on iOS (including the Apple TV).
